Accept Your Neighbor in Your Heart

15. For if you love those who love you, what reward will you have? For sinners also love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what reward will you have? For even sinners do the same. And if you greet only your brethren, what more are you doing than the others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?

Christ explains, corrects
and deepens the word:

Therefore, accept and receive your neighbor in your heart, even if he does not love you, even when he does not help you and ignores you, by refusing to greet you. Do love him! Do help him selflessly and greet him – even if it is only in thought, when he does not wish to be greeted with words. A greeting from the heart, which is given in thought, also enters the soul and brings good fruit at the right time.

Make sure that you act like the sun that gives – whether the person wants to see it or not, whether he wishes for rain or storm, whether he wants the cold or the warmth.

Give selfless love, as the sun gives to the earth, and respect all people, all Being. Then you will receive your reward in heaven.

Do not say what people want to hear. Do not discriminate, like people who associate only with those who think and act the same way and condemn those who think and act otherwise.
