The Order in Our Thoughts Leads to a Positive Communication With Our Neighbor:
Gabriele, the prophetess and spiritual ambassador of God for our time, explained this theme in the Cosmic School of Life on November 19, 2000. Here is a brief extract:
How can I put order in my thoughts? Well, we know that at every moment, countless thoughts, huge thought chains, run around in our awareness, but some thoughts continuously preoccupy us, perhaps for hours, or even days. We must question these thoughts:
Why do these thoughts build up for hours, often over and over again day after day? Our ego is behind these thoughts. The ego, our base self, wants to tell us something with this. There is something we have not dealt with. Since our nervous system is in action through this thinking, thinking, thinking, we will be able to very quickly question our thoughts with the small word “why” – Why do I constantly keep thinking about the same or like thing?
The “why” helps us, and very quickly, we will – if we want to – get behind the fact that, for example, we are offended; that we expect something from our neighbor that he doesn’t do; that we hate him or envy him something or the like. And then we go on from there: What am I envious about? Why do I hate him? Well, what do I want from him at all? In this way we will very gradually find out that he cannot give us what we want from him. Often, we simply project these things into our neighbor, and think that he has what we don’t have.
And then we can continue to question ourselves: So what do I get by having this or that? And when I now have what I envied my neighbor for having – for how long will this go well for me? And so, we will very quickly notice that what the world is so quick to give us simply disappears, it fades from our awareness and we are again unhappy.
But we want to become happy, happy from within. And so, we should switch gears and say, “Okay, Lord, I want to work off these thoughts that I have always sent to my neighbor. I ask you to help me to recognize the lowness of my ego, to repent of it from my heart and to no longer think this way, no longer act this way.” If we have then cleared it up, then very gradually, when similar things come up again, a thankfulness comes: “Thank-you that I can again recognize myself. Thank-you that with the help of the Spirit I can repent of and clear up what I still am in my ego.”
If we do this, then what develops from our inner being is freedom. We bind ourselves less and less to our neighbor through envy, animosity, hate, desires and the like. We are glad to recognize our ego. We are glad to clear it up with Christ. And this inner gladness brings out the gratitude, and from this gratitude grows the freedom – and why? Because totally different values, inner values, can develop from our inner being. And these inner values lead to a positive communication with our fellow man. And only then are we no longer alone. We can give from within, because we are putting order in our thoughts step by step.
