The prophetess of God in Universelles Leben hears the voice of the heart. It is the voice of God, the voice of truth, which the prophetess conveys in hear mother tongue. A prophet gives to all people, and according to the law of God, food for thought and answers to the complications and deplorable state of affairs of this world. But he also speaks about his task and, in so doing, about himself.
In this pamphlet, a Christ-friend asks a few questions of the prophetess of God in Universelles Leben.
A Christ-friend asks:
Gabriele, why did the Christ of God begin His work under the name of the Homebringing Mission of Jesus Christ? As things further developed Universal Life grew out of the Homebringing Mission of Jesus Christ. How are we to understand these steps of evolution?
The prophet answers:
The Homebringing Mission of Jesus Christ was an instructional and explanatory work. About twenty years ago the esoteric already existed as well as much knowledge about the divine worlds and the principles or laws of God. In the Bible we find the Ten Commandments which God gave mankind through Moses. In the Bible we may also read the essential teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, above all, the Sermon on the Mount which, when one learns to understand it, is given for all spheres of life: for the life of the individual, of the family and relatives, for our circle of friends and not least of all for a healthy development of business enterprises. Although much spiritual knowledge has been available in the world, the interpretations of how the commandments of God and the teachings of the Sermon on the Mount can be applied in our daily lives have been sparse.
In the Homebringing Mission of Jesus Christ, the Spirit of the Christ of God taught many details of the eternal law, and explained how they could be put into practice by the people of our time, including the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount. In the first years of the Homebringing Mission of Jesus Christ, the Christ of God revealed how the individual can fashion his life in order to develop spiritually ethical and moral values, as well as how he can find his way into his inner being, to the very basis of his soul, where the Christ of God dwells. For in every soul and in every person is the omnipresent Spirit, the Christ of God. In His revelations, Christ taught that every human being is the temple of the Holy Spirit and that the divine heritage is in each one, the all-embracing power of the heavens, the Being, also called the I Am. It is the essence of the all-embracing law of God, the love.
After having given much spiritual knowledge in word and writing to His human children by way of revelations, the Christ of God began to establish the Inner Spirit = Christ Churches and offered the Inner Path. Every willing person may walk this Inner Path by fulfilling step by step the commandments of God and the Sermon on the Mount. The Christ of God had taught these during the previous years from the most diverse perspectives so that every willing pilgrim on the path within to the Christ of God can understand the application of His teachings.
The Homebringing Mission of Jesus Christ, the instructional and explanatory work with its Inner Spirit = Christ Churches and the Inner Path, was in existence for a decade.
After having taken these years to spiritually prepare the ground in this way - that is, after having prepared the consciousness of many people so that they became familiar with a proper understanding of the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount and could see their way into putting them into practice in their everyday lives - the Christ of God then drew a connection to the statement which has been handed down to us in the New Testament in the last words of His Sermon on the Mount. There it reads: "Every one who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock: And the rain came and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And every one who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand: And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house; and it fell; and great was the fall of it."
Many of the countless people who heard the revelations of the Lord over several years, thus receiving and accepting His divine teachings and help, decided to walk the Inner Path in order to gradually free themselves from their sins through the help of the Christ of God - by means of His central instruction: Recognize your sins, repent of them, ask your neighbor for forgiveness, and forgive whoever has sinned against you. If you can still make amends for some of the trouble you have caused during your life, then do this. If you have gone this path of purification, then commit these sins no more. Fulfill the commandments of life more and more. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus spoke of the right and proper deed. The one who hears His teachings and does them is a wise man.
And so, the teaching and the knowledge should be followed by the deed, the application of the teaching in ones daily life, that is, its actualization.
As soon as the spirit of truth, the Christ of God, had poured - in word and writing - many laws of the heavens into many vessels, that is, into the consciousness of many people, He called many. By way of several revelations around the year 1983, He called tradesmen, artisans, businessmen, farmers, doctors and people in nearly all occupations to think about whether they would want to practice the divine laws in community. It had now come down to the "doing" of the Sermon on the Mount. And so, from the root of the Homebringing Mission of Jesus Christ, the instructional and explanatory work, He now let grow the tree of actualization - the divine deed and activity in the community: Universal Life. In Universal Life, the Christ of God revealed further levels of the Inner Path. He gave further revelations in the Inner Spirit = Christ Churches, but He also taught and teaches all those who have joined together in Christ-enterprises so that they could work with one another according to the laws given in the Sermon on the Mount. It is a totally new economic system according to the criteria of the Sermon on the Mount which was transformed down from heaven for us people on earth.
The Christ-friend asks:
Gabriele, may I interrupt you? I have various questions about what you have already said. In the Bible we read about the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount. In the western world the Catholic and Protestant institutions designate themselves as competent in regard to the teachings of Jesus. So why does the Christ of God give revelations again? Is it, among other things, to teach about the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount?
The prophet answers:
If the Spirit of God has an appropriate prophetic instrument at His disposal and does not teach the truth, thus not correcting and adding to what the so-called Christian churches have passed and pass on of Christs teaching - which is incorrect, distorted or incomplete - He would show approval of what is in existence. For at all times the Spirit of God has clarified, admonished, corrected fallacies, and touched on sore points.
Of course, both institutions, Catholic and Protestant, do teach aspects of the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth; however, these are so intermixed with the teachings of the Church, with dogmas, ceremonies and rites, that the simple teachings of Jesus of Nazareth are hardly found anymore. In his "Grand Inquisitor" Dostoyevsky aptly summed the facts up in the Grand Inquisitors words about the risen Jesus: "We corrected your great deed and founded it upon miracle, mystery and authority." (quoted from "The Brothers Karamazov" Penguin Classics, London, 1993)
In addition, sections of the Protestant Church teach that belief alone is sufficient, and the Catholic Church stresses the use of the sacraments more strongly than the practice of the teachings of Jesus. With this, both institutions suppress Jesus of Nazareths core statement about doing His teachings.
Let us be aware that God had already taught about doing the Ten Commandments through Moses, for He said: "You shall ." which means: You shall actualize the Ten Commandments of God, in other words, do them. God did not say through Moses, "Believe in the Commandments, that alone is enough." By the fact that both institutions suppressed the central statement "you shall" of the mighty Creator through Moses, and the core statement of His Son, Jesus, the Christ, in the Sermon on the Mount "The one who hears these words of mine and does them " - since for them, Jesus Sermon on the Mount is utopic and they give precedence to their own instructions concerning His teachings, for example, that belief or the sacraments alone suffice - they led Christendom into half-heartedness and dependency on their institutions. Each and every person who followed this false teaching was subliminally or subconsciously led to believe that, as a result, he no longer must bear the responsibility for himself and for his own life. The unconditional allegiance to the Church made the believers blind. Loyalty to God was turned into loyalty to the Church; entanglement in sin and dependency were the result.
God is with His children in their soul and physical garments. For this reason, the Christ of God, the Redeemer of all souls and men, revealed and again reveals His simple teachings which He brought to mankind as Jesus of Nazareth, at the same time teaching us how to put them into practice in our day and age.
As far as the authorities in both churches are concerned, it is not less than presumptuous on the part of the Christ of God that He takes the liberty, after 2,000 years as the Christ of God, the Son of the All-Highest, to speak through the mouth of a prophet, in order to bring to mankind once more what the ecclesiastical authorities in both institutions have, in Dostoyevskys words, "improved." What did the Grand Inquisitor say: "Why have you come to get in our way now? And why do you gaze at me so silently and sincerely with those meek eyes of yours? Why do you not get angry? I do not want your love, because I myself do not love you And do you think I would conceal our secret from you? Perhaps it is my own lips that you want to hear it from - then listen: we are not with you but with him, (the adversary) there is our secret! We have long been not with you but with him, eight centuries now. It is now just eight centuries since we took from him that which you in indignation rejected, that final gift he offered you, when he showed you all the kingdoms of the world: we took from him Rome and the sword of Caesar and announced that we alone were the kings of the world, the only kings, even though to this day we have not succeeded in bringing our task to its complete fulfilment. But whose is the blame for that? Oh, this task is as yet only at its beginning, but it has begun. The world will have to wait for its accomplishment for a long time yet, and it will have to suffer much, but we shall reach our goal and shall be Caesars and then we shall give thought to the universal happiness of human beings. And yet even back then you could have taken the sword of Caesar. Why did you reject that final gift?" "For who shall reign over human beings if not those who reign over their consciences and in whose hands are their loaves? Well, we took the sword of Caesar, and, of course, in taking it rejected you and followed him."
Jesus, the Christ, who is not ready to be put in His place - not even by the ecclesiastical authorities - made and now makes true again what He promised to His own: "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth." (John 16:12) The Christ of God now gives to us human beings everything that we can understand at the present time and in our human words.
Both institutions have treated Christianity badly through their doctrinal system, in which they place more stress on belief and sacraments than on Christian deeds. In this way, they bind the believers to the will and aspirations of the theologians, to their world of conceptions and to cults. Because the people in both ecclesiastical institutions hardly had or have any examples of the actualization of the teachings of Jesus - since for them mere belief or the sacraments are more important than the deed - everyone did what he wanted, in the hope that his church would absolve him from his sins in good time, so that he could go to heaven.
This was not what God had commanded. Neither was it what Jesus of Nazareth taught. And so, because this is not Gods will, what kind of a heaven will be attained by a person who follows his church institution and its authorities? Is it Gods heaven, the pure Being, our eternal home - or rather the "heaven" of the church institution? And what will it look like?
The presumptuousness of the church institutions in assuming the power to decide upon the well-being or woe of each and every person as well as of his immortal soul resulted, among other things, in the invention of "eternal damnation" - and hopelessness and despair for the one who has fallen into the trap of church dogma. How does it look for a believer who does not receive "absolution" from his heavy sins in good time, and passes over into the beyond with his mountain of sins? Is he then sure to suffer eternal damnation as taught by both institutions?
In this world there are many religions. My view is that no other religion is so merciless as the Catholic and Protestant institutions which threaten their faithful with eternal damnation. One must analyze the word "eternal" in order to find out what it means: to roast eternally in the caldron of fire without the slightest hope that God will have mercy on a particular soul at some time or other. If this were so, wouldnt every father on earth, even one who might be called strict, be more merciful than our Father in heaven? Dostoevski, quite rightly, has his Grand Inquisitor say to Jesus: "Why do you not get angry? I do not want your love, because I myself do not love you." This ecclesiastic teaching of eternal damnation is a fiendish spawn of the greatest lack of love possible.
Based on a teaching which puts more importance on the belief in dogmas and sacraments than on a Christian way of life, with many believers thus becoming unscrupulous and at the same time dependent, and since the person came to feel ever less responsible for his thinking and acting, a worldwide chaos has developed both in the emotional life and in the world of sensations of the individual and in the family, as well as in society and in the business world. Not a single one of those tied to the Catholic and Protestant Churches was taught what it means to collect positive forces. Nor were they taught what it means to repent, clear up, and no longer commit - with the help of the Christ of God on the path towards self-recognition - whatever gives rise to the negative forces resulting from the world of the senses of the individual, from his thoughts, feelings and his all-too-human desires. Dostoyevskys Grand Inquisitor said: "Oh, we shall persuade them that they will only become free when they renounce their freedom for us and submit to us."
This is a systematic enslavement of others into dependency and bondage as a principle of power.
How the commandments of God are to be understood and practiced by the individual was and is only superficially taught to the church folk, since, first and foremost, everything has to do with belief and sacraments. Both institutions, the Catholic and the Protestant, teach that the Sermon on the Mount of Jesus cannot be put into practice in this world. In general, it is projected into another time and another world, and in this way relegated to the dimensions of utopia. We know that the mills of God grind slowly because He gives every willing person the chance over a long period of time to change his ways and clear up his faults. But with the corresponding irradiation of the planets, the causes inevitably go into effect. For this reason, at some time or other, the moment comes in the life of each individual, just as in the fate of the earth and of mankind, in which what has been building up for thousands of years becomes visible externally: chaos. We can now see this chaotic behavior in the whole world, in the minds of the ecclesiastical authorities and their followers, in science, industry and commerce, and in politics. Not only is mankind lying in ruins, but all the all-too-human structures created by it are, too.
If we take a look at the developments which led up to this general decline we find, in the center of the network of guilty embroilment, a main party responsible: the institution of the church and its authorities, followed by all those who, though aware of Jesus words in the Bible, "Every one who hears these words of mine and does them is like wise man ," have accepted the cheap sell-out of His teachings - whether from credulity or from laziness is an open question. Instead of mankind fulfilling Jesus first and great commandment - You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart and with all your soul, and with all your might, and, you shall love your neighbor as yourself - what sprung from the depths of human egocentricity and hard-heartedness was envy, hate, enmity, murder, war and the destruction of nature and of the atmosphere. In other words: sheer ego. Shall God remain silent about all this? The eternal One is not governed by the wishes of the Grand Inquisitor. He speaks when He will, and will always speak out the truth, what He had already taught us as Jesus of Nazareth and beyond that. In the long run, He will not allow the ecclesiastical authorities to continue to be effective, for not only have they bent the teachings of the God of creation and His Son, the Christ of God, but they have also distorted them. The irrevocable law of love, peace and wisdom, God, does not allow mankind to be brought into even more dependency and to be led astray - which is tantamount to being led away from Him - into externalities, into doctrines and ritualistic acts that correspond to the spirit of heathen times. Gods forbearance and patience has been long-lasting. One has only to think of the crusades in which millions of people holding other beliefs were killed in the name of Jesus, the Christ; one remembers the Middle Ages where people were tortured, false confessions extorted and millions of people burned to death at the stake or otherwise died a cruel death, all in the name of the cross of salvation.
As has been said, the mills of God grind slowly, but at some point in time, enough is enough. Those who spun and plaited the threads of fate over hundreds, if not thousands, of years now bind themselves with these same threads more and more. A new cosmic cycle has begun. Christ, who was victorious on Golgotha and became the Redeemer of all men and souls, leads all that seemed to be lost back into the eternal Being. The Christ of God spoke and now speaks again. He leads all those who are willing into a new era, into the era of the laws of the Sermon on the Mount. This also comprises a completely new spiritually ethical and moral economic system for this world, resulting from the fulfillment of the main commandment of love towards God and neighbor.
The Christ-friend asks:
Does Universal Life include this new economic system which you have just mentioned? And what exactly does Universal Life mean?
The prophet answers:
Yes, this new economic system originated in Universal Life. It was transformed down from heaven for us human beings. It follows the contents of the Sermon on the Mount. Universal Life means universal spirit. God, who is all in all things, not only teaches His eternal law of love and unity, but He also shows His children how the eternal law may be put into practice in all spheres of life on earth, including industry and commerce. Christendom has prayed for almost 2,000 years in the Lords Prayer: "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." In Universal Life Christ teaches us by way of the prophetic word what this statement means for us people and how it may be realized in everyday life and in all spheres of life on earth, so that there may be peace and mankind may fulfill the will of God.
The Christ of God teaches the Christ-friends who have set out to practice the principles of equality, freedom, unity, brotherliness and justice in their everyday life and in the Christ-enterprises they have founded. Christ gives this treasure from heaven for the earth - but we people have difficulty in putting these principles into practice, despite our belief and good will. We are all still caught up in the old patterns of a degenerate economic system: the dog-eat-dog attitude, the undermining of an enterprise, the power struggles and the employee/employer attitude. The undermining of an enterprise does not result because too little work is done, but rather what matters is how one works and where the individuals thoughts are while working.
Often the employee has no particular interest in the business because it is not his own enterprise, but that of his employer. Principally, he works in the enterprise merely to earn his living, and almost everything else is of little interest to him. Therefore, the question of costs and the marketing position of the enterprise are not usually his concern; he seldom bothers with the planning of the business, and hardly ever with improving its economic viability and increasing income and profit. Whatever work and activities the employee has been assigned to do he carries out more or less satisfactorily in accordance with his abilities and his customary way of living and thinking.
Many employees, but just as many employers, have a typical attitude of taking. Often the individual is only concerned that his job and his position are secure. He contributes very little to increasing the positive energy in the enterprise; this becomes apparent when one is able to look into the world of thoughts and desires of the individual. What do the thoughts and desires of the employees and employers look like? Are their thoughts with their work? Do they really help to carry the whole responsibility for their enterprise? Does the make-up of their thoughts and desires benefit the enterprise?
It may very well be that the individual works well and carries a specialists responsibility for his particular field of work - but where are his thoughts? Often they are with his problems, with his neighbor with whom he has a disagreement, with a colleague who is held in more esteem by his employer than he is, and who was perhaps able to climb a few rungs higher on the ladder of success than he Or he is thinking about the argument he had with his wife or his children Or his thoughts are in the future, building pipedreams or planning his vacation: the preparations, the departure, which clothes he must take with him and how his holiday will take shape Or he thinks about when he should buy a new car, whether it will be possible for him to pay for it with cash, or by installment Or what methods he can employ to saw a leg off the chair of the office manager, in order to bring about his downfall and then take his place Or he thinks over what words he could use to blacken the name of his colleague with his employer so that he could perhaps lose his job - which he could then take over himself because the salary is a few hundred dollars more Or he thinks of his girlfriend or of another woman and what path he has to take in order to meet her without her husband finding out And and and and
Work is thus done on the side, using whatever remains of his consciousness. In this way, many mistakes are made which, for example, have to be put right time and again and cost working time. All this, and much more, takes place at the expense of the enterprise: The business is deprived of the energy it needs.
If we take a look at the mass media we read and hear about corruption, mainly by employers and top management, about unemployment, quarrels, squabbles, hate, envy, murder, greater and smaller fights, a lack of peace which leads all the way to war. The whole world is one big fiery furnace in which, above all, the employees and the small and middle-sized companies are roasting. The so-called responsibles of social action groups add fuel to the fire so that the global conflagration of corruption, unemployment, conflicts of the one against the other, of criminality, drug addiction, particularly among juveniles, and murder, war and much more, becomes ever more widespread.
The Christ-friend asks:
Can you explain to me once again why thoughts are so decisive?
Science has taught us that no energy is ever lost, yet what constitutes energy is known to only a few. The Christ of God revealed to us that each thought, each word, each deed is energy - even our feelings and sensations are potential energies. With the "tools of our trade" - our feelings, sensations, thoughts, words and deeds - we are in continual communication with the same or like forms of energy. These build up in the places and on the objects to which we transmit our thoughts.
To the Christ-friends in the Christ-enterprises, the Christ of God further revealed that each enterprise may be seen as an organism. Each individual employee is, so to speak, an organ or a component, a cell, of an organ. The organism of the enterprise can regain health and remain healthy, making good sales and profits, only when each organ communicates with the others. In other words, when the employees in the business work together peaceably. Because everything is energy, an enterprise can continue to exist in the long run only when the employees have responsible, constructive and goal-oriented thoughts about the business while they are working. The enterprise is, in turn, like an organism, a limb, an organ in the great organism of the common good, the living, great totality, in which the One works for all and all work for the One, Christ. The goal of a Christ-enterprise is to provide a good service for ones neighbor and for the good of all, by using the positive energy of all concerned.
The employee who loves his work and whose heart is with his company does not restrict himself just to working in the business. He is also a healthy and active organ within the firm itself. The person who lets his thoughts wander from his work and enterprise to whatever fills his world of desires to own, to be and to have, to long-standing problems, to vacations, flirting and the like, gives little positive energy to his work - on the contrary, he takes positive energy out of the enterprise, lets this flow into the fantasies of his thoughts and desires and so on, and feeds them with it. The result of this is that such a person does damage to the energy of the business because he withdraws it from the enterprise. He neither carries responsibility for the enterprise nor for his work, and in the end not for himself either, because his thoughts whirl here and there but are not with his work.
Within an organism each organ is tuned to the other. Each component of an organ is essential so that the organism, the business-structure, may remain a healthy active organism which grows and flourishes. In this way, equality is established in regard to the value given to all activities and jobs. It thus follows that in a healthy Christian enterprise there should be no great difference in pay. If each member of a company - that is, employer and employee - is part of the organism "enterprise," the question then arises as to whether it is advantageous to the organism as a whole when one or more organs lay claim to more energy then they need for a healthy and flourishing life. For instance, if the brain cell said "We are the most important cells of the whole organism and therefore need 80% of all the energy in the company" - what would happen? The brain cells would become more and more luxuriant and the rest of the body cells weaker and weaker. The balance would be lost, the organism would sicken and possibly die. When the employers or employees demand too high a wage rate without any consideration for balance, or for the enterprises financial situation, then something similar occurs to the organism "enterprise."
The employee/employer attitudes, too, have a divisive effect; for these give rise to the differences between high-ranking persons and subordinates, those who give orders and those who carry them out. In enterprises where there is an above and below, a high and low, that is, inequality, the employees sense of responsibility is not encouraged.
The Spirit of God revealed to us that every person differs in the predispositions of his consciousness. One has a greater sense of responsibility, the other, as yet, a smaller one; one has qualitative talents, the other has only limited qualifications. One has qualities of leadership, the other still needs to be led. But anyone who wishes to grow into becoming a person with responsibility can expand his consciousness, if he makes use of the possibilities for expanding the horizon of the experience open to him in a well-run enterprise. In this way he can, within the enterprise, grow into the role of responsibility, because in time he contributes not only his former qualities, but also opens up to additional abilities which gradually develop further.
The Spirit of the Christ of God has advised the Christ-friends in the Christ-enterprises to establish enterprises that are always easy to overlook, so that each employee can understand its business system and can experience the enterprise as a person of responsibility. In this way, each employee is fully at home in the enterprise and makes it his personal matter. Then there is no employer/employee attitude; instead, all bear responsibility for the enterprise and are therefore partners in the whole company.
The Christ-enterprises were built by the Christ-friends within the framework of this principle. All of them, who bear responsibility for the enterprise, are joined together according to worldly law and inner justice in the workers association of the Christ-enterprises, which holds the shares of the enterprises.
It should be expressed quite clearly that this economic system which is based on the divine laws can function only when each employee bears responsibility and is a partner who has made the enterprise his concern. The prerequisite for assuring the combined action and work of each individual in the Christ-enterprises is the step-by-step fulfillment of the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount in the life of each and every one. In order to make this possible, the Inner Path had already been revealed by the Spirit of the Christ of God while the Homebringing Mission of Jesus Christ was in existence. Now, in Universal Life, it is offered in even greater detail.
The Christ-friends in the Christ-enterprises have had good experience with this Original Christian system of business. Not all of them are fully imbued with this divine principle of equality. Therefore, one may say that they are on their way to being able to understand and master it totally. And so, the business system of the Christ-enterprises still finds itself in the initial stages, although in several enterprises great steps have been made and good results have been, and are being, achieved.
The Christ-enterprise, which is an organism, belongs to everybody, for no organ should be above another. For the functioning of the enterprise, all organs are of equal importance, because each organ works with the others, according to the principal of equality in giving and receiving. Here, too, nature gives us a good example: Would a human organism function well and flourish if each cell were not in communication with the others?
What would happen if the liver cell said to the nerve cell, "I wont take any messages or orders from you; I shall produce as much bile as I think fit " Would it not be foreseeable that very soon the whole digestive tract would suffer from a lack or excess of bile, thus giving rise to severe disorders? Or what would happen if the liver went on strike and said, "All the nutrients flowing to me through the portal vein system I shall keep for myself - you other cells can see to getting your own nutrients!"
Christ revealed that we should not leave the personal problems and difficulties occurring in the course of our daily lives unresolved over a longer period of time, but that they should be cleared up so that the employee can keep his thoughts on his work. Only in this way can he be responsible for the enterprise and be there for his neighbor. A peaceful and harmonious working-together leads to unity and to a healthy growth of the enterprise both in sales and profits. The principle of equality also leads to a sense of freedom for each individual employee. A healthy upward-striving enterprise also brings more energy for the business which results in, among other things, a salary increase and higher profit sharing for the individual.
Concerning problems and difficulties, one can say that the person who, in his daily life, follows the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount, and thus the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, does not have to be plagued by problems and cares and go through life in a dejected manner. Difficulties must not become problems if we use them as an opportunity to recognize ourselves in them and clear up whatever underlies the situation. Through the transforming power of the Christ of God, and by means of the step-by-step fulfillment of the divine laws we will become free of personal burdens.
Every person who nurses his personal problems and difficulties, that is, who cultivates his personal fantasies during work, upsets the structure of equality and unity leading to the organic growth of the enterprise. Anyone who does not bring his inner and outer life into order, who dwells on his personal, egocentric world of desires, will, because of this, have an effect on the order of the organically-developed structure of the enterprise through his negligence and faulty work. This world of desires may be likened to a virus which can contribute to disorder in the company and to its financial ruin. The Christ-friends request such employees to leave the organically-developed Christ-enterprise in order to manifest their personal, visionary, egocentric daydreams wherever else they like.
Jesus, the Christ, taught and teaches us brotherliness, which means that as a result of our cosmic origin we are all brothers and sisters to each other. According to the divine principles for business, this means that each one works in the organism of the enterprise according to his abilities and at the same time lends support to his neighbor.
In justice, means that within the structure of the business every quarrel should be settled as soon as possible so that the organism of the enterprise does not suffer. Under certain circumstances the business may even collapse if, over a long period, organs rebel against one another - in other words, if people are, and remain, in disagreement. If two people have a quarrel with one another, not only is the one in the right, but also the other. The balance of justice in Christian business always bears a settlement in mind, in that each one clears up with the other whatever led to the quarrel.
Each individuals positive thinking and a good personal feeling of togetherness are forces which can make the enterprise prosper. They are, so to speak, the best groundworkers among the companys employees. The same is true in the family and in a life together with friends and relations.
From the revelations of the Christ of God, we also know that if we create order in our personal surroundings, then the enterprise functions, too.
All of us, the Christ-friends in the Christ-enterprises, are not perfect, and yet in this business system we experience wonder after wonder. The divine principle, the motor of the Christ-enterprises - the application of the teachings of the Sermon on the Mount in our personal lives, in all business issues and in regard to our customers - functions from one hour to the next. Many brothers and sisters experience this daily. Living and working according to the laws of the Sermon on the Mount consists, as already indicated, of a very simple principle: Put your thoughts in order in accordance with the divine laws, make peace with your neighbor and live in unity with him. Do not think "everything just for me," but think in terms of the common good, of the good of your neighbor, who is your brother or sister, and of the good of the business.
Learn to stay in communication with the gifts of God: with the work that you do, with nature that surrounds you, with each plant that you cultivate, with the fruits you tend, with the products that you sell, with the wares you offer. Remain in creative, divine communication with the fields and with everything that grows on them.
Remain in communication with the four elements, fire - which is like the sun - water, earth and air. Be aware that they are gifts of God for this earth. Remain in communication with the animals on and in the earth, on and in the waters, in the air, but also in the barns, and remember that, seen spiritually, they are a part of your inner life.
Whatever you do - be aware that you want to give your very best, and then you, too, will receive the best. Do not regard your customers merely as customers, but see them as your brothers and sisters, and remember that from the spiritual point of view they are a part of your spiritual life. Your customer is not merely king but a part of your heart.
The Christ-friends in the Christ-enterprises strive daily to render unto Caesar the things which are Caesars. Qualified personnel maintain exact bookkeeping records and pay the taxes and duties as dictated by the government. In accordance with the teachings of Jesus, we also render unto God what is His due. Our gratitude to Him lies in the step-by-step fulfillment of what Jesus commanded of all men: "Every one who hears these words of mine and does them is like a wise man who built his house solidly upon the rock. And the rain came and the floods came and the winds beat and blew about that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded upon the rock."
In the meantime, we have come to know the "barometer of consciousness." It reacts as soon as our thoughts are directed against our neighbor, and also when we are not in positive communication with our work. If our work lacks concentration because our thoughts - that is, our consciousness - are somewhere else, for example, in making preparations for a vacation or a weekend, or with the course of other pleasures of life which attract us like a magnet, then the barometer of the enterprise sinks immediately; what has been manufactured, the wares and the products, lose energy. Their positive radiation, which is what attracts purchasers, then decreases. For instance, the taste of the fruit or of the bread changes - sales drop, and naturally profits, too. If we are indifferent towards our customer who is our neighbor, because our positive thoughts are not with him, or if we show indifference or even belittle him, then in time we lose potential customers or potential brothers and sisters. The barometer of the enterprise sinks.
Nobody is perfect. Everyone has his or her ups and downs; for each day brings every one of us learning tasks, things which have to be cleared up and situations in which we can prove ourselves. And so, everyone has to work on himself in order to achieve equality, freedom, unity, brotherliness and justice. The barometer of consciousness of our enterprise shows our fluctuations; they bring about the ups and downs of the enterprise.
Experience has shown that an upward trend is possible only in togetherness and not in being against one another.
In a Christ-enterprise each friend of Christ has equal rights. Their income meets at least the statutory requirements; in particular, with Christ-friends who have children, it lies much higher. There is a profit sharing payout every quarter. The amount of this payout is determined by the Christ-friends in the respective Christ-enterprises themselves. This Christian enterprise or economic system that is in accordance with the contents of the Sermon on the Mount makes possible a life of equality, unity, freedom, brotherliness and justice.
The world, with its present economic system, is standing on the brink of an abyss. There may, perhaps, be occasional "breathers," short phases of apparent calm, but the general trend is downward, because this system has no foundation. Where an authoritarian and subordinate way of thinking dominates, indifference develops, because different people frequently do the thinking for others. And so, no equality can develop there. No freedom can grow where daily struggles of the one against the other are the rule, or, in the greater economy, where a fight of the giants holds sway. If one has an oversized income while others are starving, no unity between people can develop. Where power and money oppress the powerless, no brotherliness can develop. Where respected persons assert their so-called rights and the average person has to give way, no justice can come into being.
Again and again, this imbalance leads to discord, hate, envy, murder, fights, wars, extermination and much more. The nations which are blinded by all this will take up arms over and over again, in the belief that they can bring about peace in this way. Through the use of weapons one may well bring a people to the brink of ruin, exterminate it or take its means of life. Yet warlike and murderous thoughts cannot be destroyed by weapons, but only by people who put into practice what Jesus taught us in His Sermon on the Mount.
Wherever the original Christian principles of equality, freedom, unity, brotherliness and justice remain mere words - perhaps spoken from a pulpit during a Sunday sermon - but are not aspired to and lived in daily life in the family, at work and in the enterprise, no one follows in the footsteps of Jesus. He spoke of the fulfillment of His teachings, of doing - and was the best example in His own life of how they should be lived. The person who preaches belief but negates the need to practice the contents of this belief - for example, at work - cannot understand that faith and life should be a unit. He cannot understand Jesus of Nazareth and His teachings - he does not even know Him. Incidentally, neither does he understand the constitution of our state, for which the principles of equality, freedom and social justice are likewise words of central importance.
