The
Future of the Universe
Astrophysicists have long thought that they knew what would someday become of
our solar system. Our central sun is meanwhile 5 billion years old and feeds its
fire through the transformation of hydrogen into helium. The fuel for this
process of nuclear fusion will last for another 5 billion years. Then the sun
will transform into a Red Giant, 30 times greater than it presently is and 200
times brighter. While this fireball expands, it will swallow up the 4 inner
planets of our solar system, Mercury, Venus, the Earth and Mars. After more
billions of years our sun will shrink into a small ball, approximately the size
of a small planet. It will become a White Dwarf, as the astronomers call it, in
which the gas pressure is no longer enough to withstand the gravitational force
of the mass. In the end, the sun will fade into the darkness of outer space;
this is the prospect given by the researchers of the heavens.
But our solar system is merely a grain of sand in the universe, developed at the
edge of a galaxy with 300 billion stars, which, in turn, are only one from
several hundred billions of similar star clusters that exist in the universe
in a cosmos that 15 billion years ago suddenly emerged like a flash of
lightening out of nothing, and since then has been flying apart at the speed
of light. Will the centrifugal force of the Big Bang never end? Or, in the face
of the mutual attraction of the cosmic star masses, will this expansion
gradually slow down and finally come to a standstill, and then start rewinding
in a dramatic reversal, so that the cosmos shrink together, sucked back in by
its own force of gravity to its starting point, becoming ever denser, ever
smaller, ever hotter, and finally producing a new Big Bang, not only one, but
many, countless Big Bangs, like a pulsating cosmos? Until recently, these
questions remained open.
For several months, the astrophysicists think they have come up with the answer.
They sent up highly modern measuring balloons from the Antarctic, with which
they can examine the cosmic background radiation of the Big Bang more precisely
than before. Some of the researchers recently explained the results to the
public: The momentum of the Big Bang proved to be big enough to resist the
gravity force of the density of matter in the universe. The universe was
weighed and found to be too light, according to the casual comment of Matthias
Bartelmann, an astrophysicist from Garching, Germany, as quoted in this years
second issue of Spiegel. The result is that the universe will continue to expand
more and more; the billions of stars will become Red Giants and White Dwarfs.
According to present estimates of research astronomers, it will last another 100
billion years until the last suns have burned up. The cosmos will be filled with
dead matter, until matter itself dissolves and with it, all White Dwarfs, all
planets and moons and particle clouds of the cosmos. Even protons and neutrons,
the building blocks of the nuclei of atoms, are to decay over extremely long
periods of time, and little by little all chemical elements, too, being
transformed into radiation. This all seems unimaginable and infinitely far away.
If one were to relate the end of the cosmos as described here to one year on
Earth, then just one hour has passed since the Big Bang.
With their most recent statements, have the physicists now even done away with
the apocalypse, which plays a role in almost all the myths of mankind in the
form of cosmic catastrophes, which Jesus of Nazareth spoke of and which are
reflected in the images found in the Revelation of John? Certainly not. Our
Earth continues to be threatened by comets and planetoids, which crash to the
Earth every few million years the last time was 65 million years ago when the
dinosaurs died out. On the other hand, the Earth, which the apocalyptic
prophecies refer to, is a part of the emergence and passing away of the whole
universe. What the cosmologists now tell us about the end of the universe also
concerns our material existence, its structure, its emergence and its end.
Everything related to the Earth emerged from the Fall-event in the spiritual
world. The Big Bang was presumably the break from the spiritual into the
material existence. But this existence in time and space is not eternal.
Eternity exists only in the divine Being. That which came from the pure heavens
and became coarse-material through a process of densification will purify and
refine itself, so that all things can return to God. The hypothesis of the
physicists that at the end of time all matter will dissolve into radiation
reminds one in many ways of what was revealed for the present time through the
mouth of a prophet: That first the Kingdom of Peace of the Christ of God will
emerge on this Earth, in which man and matter gradually become refined. That
there will be a new heaven and a new Earth and that human beings will grow into
a light-filled era. For in the great Christ-revelation This Is My Word, Alpha
and Omega, we can read the following on pages 675-676:
On this path of evolution toward more light-filled and finer forms, everything
will spiritualize itself more and more up to light-materiality, to finer
matter. For people of the New Era will increase the light in and on the earth
and, through their spiritual life, will continue to raise the vibration of the
earth and the entire solar system. When the Kingdom of Peace has emerged on the
finer matter, on the light-material earth, another sun will shine.
Recognize that after the Kingdom of Peace, the satanic, the demon, is once again
allowed to try his strength against Me, the Christ, for even then, he still has
the intent to reconquer the earth. Then, however, he has to recognize that the
Let there be of God is in full motion and that he has fully used up the time
span, the period of grace, which was given to him once more by God, our Father.
After this event which encompasses the earth, all highly condensed planets will
gradually burst apart and the purely spiritual substances in the material
planets will come out of their shells, similarly as the souls of people whose
bodies have died. The abandoned material parts of planets will then disintegrate
more and more. Then all that is coarse-material will gradually become
fine-material, for God is pure, fine-material energy. God is spirit, power, love
and wisdom.*
No one knows at what point in time this will happen. In the Christ-revelation,
it seems to relate to the Earth. But the spiritual return of the Co-Regent of
the heavens, which is announced for the Kingdom of Peace, will change the whole
cosmos and spiritualize all matter. When the Fall is reversed and all things and
human beings have returned to the eternal homeland, there will be no place for
the coarse-material world.
