We have no communication because we are not free. We are bound to the human and to the all-too-human that moves us in our daily lives, about which we think, that is, about which we carry out our “monologues. ” Through this, we simply pass our neighbor by.

Everyone who is not free, has no positive communication with his neighbor, at the most, it is an exchange of egos. In order to gain communication, real communication, we have to first free ourselves from our ego, with what we speak past our neighbor. We only communicate our self, the other one also only communicates his self – we speak past one another and think this is communication.

The ego relates to the body and is not the life. It is the human existence. Only when we become free from ourselves, from our ego, free in order to attain the cosmic I AM – the inputs or the inspiration from within – only then do we begin to live. This means that we first have to shape the life, which is our true life, from within to without. Anything else is an exchange of egos.

And so, we have to learn on ourselves, in order to refine ourselves daily so that the Spirit of infinity is able to work through us. The exchange of ego is human. We are however, not only human, but in our inherent nature, we are cosmic beings.

In order to learn we have to recognize ourselves, our base self which we daily reveal with the words that we talk toward our neighbor and believe that now we are communicating with him. 

To learn to gain the life that comes from within means to question ourselves in all things, to question everything that we say, everything that we think or feel. If our conscience is still active, then we feel very soon, that something quite different is behind our words or thoughts than what we think on the surface or what we say. What is taking place behind our words, behind our thoughts or behind our feelings is actually us, and often enough, it is not so very nice, the way we externally portray ourselves.

First when we recognize what is “behind” and clear it up with the power of the Spirit and no longer think, speak, do or want the same or like things, only then will we become free of bindings to our neighbor, who should do this or that for us, who should make this or that for us, who should speak for us or whom we should help, even though he knows what he could do.

The one who does not clear up the things that take place in the background, binds himself again and again to people. He wants favors from his neighbor; he wants recognition from his neighbor; he wants his neighbor to do this or that, although he could do it himself; he belittles others, puts himself above others, etc. This is bondage.

This also means an exchange of egos. When someone then speaks to another about these things and the other affirms it saying, “Oh yes, you are absolutely right, that’s the way it is,” then this is the flat communication, in actual fact, it is an ego exchange.

Life is communication, it is cosmic communication. If we want to live, that is, to have real communication, then we have to take the first step by questioning ourselves again and again. Our fives senses help us with this, for they often call up our thoughts or our conversations.

Everyone can examine himself. When he sees something, he begins to think. What does he think? What is behind the thoughts? This is what he is. What does he feel? What is behind his feelings? This is what he is. If we do not get rid of the “all-too-human” in us then we cannot establish a true communication with our neighbor. Bondage is lack of freedom and freedom is life.

True communication, not the ego-communication, means to understand the other. Cosmic communication means that I understand my fellow man. Even when, for example, I do not agree with what he says, but within me I learn to understand and to know him. And from this, comes the decision for myself: Do I preoccupy muself with the “all-too-human?” Then I can say that I have made compromises and compromises lead, in turn, to bondage. If I take the positive of a person, if I affirm the positive, then I also leave him free. Free to decide as he wishes, but I do not have to bind myself to the “all-too-human.” Then I can say, I have communication with my neighbor, with his true being. If I have learned this communication on my self, then I also have communication with my neighbor, with the inner being of my neighbor and, at the same time, communication with nature and with the animals.
